Celebrating God's Faithfulness. Continuing the Legacy.
It has been a year since papa died and over the year we have heard people saying they wished they were able to come to the interment but their cicumstances did not allow them to. So the family decided to hold a memorial service in Balangao for the one year death anniversary.
It was a cold, wet and muddy January but nevertheless people came and for almost a week fellowshipped, reminisced, cried, laugh and broke bread with us. The plan was to hold the memorial service on the 26th of January but it turned out to be a week long affair.
We thank God for his provision and protection throughout the celebration. During the service, people were given the chance to say some words of remembrance and encouragement. Videos and pictures of papa were shown during the night. The people also enjoyed presentations by Threads and the Life Touch Youth Ensemble.
