Baptism

On the 11th of March 2007, 2 in the afternoon at the SIL Bagabag Center swimming pool, 7 of the New Life Dorm students publicly proclaimed their decision to follow Christ and underwent water baptism. It was wonderful seeing these young people dedicate their lives to follow only Christ and to live it in accordance to His purpose.

This baptism was originally scheduled September last year but due to my father's condition it kept on being postponed. Prior to the baptism, these students went through several baptism class. Balangao Elder Fanganan, officiated the baptism. It was witnessed by the students from the dormitory and some SIL friends.

Commisioning

Last February 24, 2007, the whole family was together in Malabon for Pastor Lyle's Commissioning Service at Messiah Christian Baptist Church. This is the mother church of Vessels of Glory, the church he is pastoring in Bacoor, Cavite. Together with two other pastors, he was commissioned to preach the Gospel here and around the world. His ordination will be on the last weekend of May. This truly is a big milestone for Pastor Lyle as he starts his ministry here in Bayombong.
